All students are required to wear our SDGA branded uniform in class. This promotes team building, inclusivity and a sense of belonging while ensuring students are wearing appropriate attire to safely participate in the class. Uniforms are worn for our Mid-Year Concert and the finale dance at our End of Year concert and new students have 2 weeks to purchase the uniform.

PRE-SCHOOL (3 - 5 year olds)

Most Pre-School dancers wear our branded pink tutu for class, which you can purchase here, but they may also wear any of our uniform items below (many wear the pink dress or black dress - size 2 is on sale for $25). Pre-School students wear ballet tights with ballet shoes for class, which can be purchased through Bloch, Flo Dancewear or Big W. Hair must be tied up neatly for class. Pre-School boys wear our Acro tshirt with their own black shorts or track pants.

PRE-JUNIOR & JUNIOR (KINDY - YR 4)

ACRO DANCE CLASS UNIFORM:

Any combination of our SDGA uniform items below with bare feet. Hair must be tied up neatly for class. We have heating in our studios but you may like to add your own plain black leggings and a wrap top in winter.

BALLET, JAZZ & LYRICAL CLASS UNIFORM:

Any combination of our SDGA uniform items below with pale pink ballet tights and ballet shoes. Hair must be tied up neatly for class. Ballet tights and shoes can be purchased from Bloch in Chatswood Westfield (ballet tights & ballet shoes) , Flo Dancewear or Big W. We have heating in our studios but you may like to add your own plain black leggings and a wrap top in winter.

INTERMEDIATE & SENIOR (YR 5 +)

ALL CLASSES:

Any combination of our SDGA uniform items below with:

Acro Dance - bare feet

Lyrical / Contemporary - bare feet, socks or foot thongs (optional) 

Jazz - bare feet or tan jazz elastabooties (optional)

Ballet -  ballet tights and ballet shoes (or similar). Ballet students may wear their own plain black leotard and optional wrap skirt for class *please note that they will require our SDGA 'DANCER' t-shirt for mid-year and end of year concert finale dances
